Guten Morgen, ich leite mal die mail von Jean Bosco zum Strand der Dinge weiter:
Dear all,
Hello,
First of all the community and us would like to reiterate our
gratefulness to your usual and continued support for the favor of
education of 167 kids at Kanyaruchinya primary school.
The below is the updated situation:
This primary school reopened on September 5th, 2018 and all the 167 kids
reported present as we had already discussed, through several meetings,
with their parents and the school team management in order to give more
chance to all the kids.
From your donations, the total amount of USD 6,662 was received in 3
different wire transfers in our account through Ms Megan.
The first wire transfer of USD 3,612 and this contributed much to the
purchase of the 2/3 of needed school tools for the 167 kids. A total
amount of USD 3,507 was spent on these school tools.
We had long meetings and negociations with the school team management
about how we could pay the year school fees and an agreement was reached
by paying the school year fees in different weekly installments.
The second and third wire transfers of respectively USD 1,670 and USD
1,380 were also received and were spent as installments on 2018-2019
school year fees as following:
1. September 5th to September 12th, 2018: USD 1,000
2. September 13th to September 20th, 2018: USD 1,000
3. September 21st to September 28th, 2018: USD 1,000
Actually from the whole total amount received of USD 6,662, after the
deduction of all spent amounts, we remain in our account USD 155 without
considering bank fees which have to be deducted.
Based on the above details, we are entering a red period in terms of
paying school fees on time as agreed with the school because for this
week which counts from September 29th to October 6th, 2018, we don't
have funds.
As per my knowledge, Ms Megan has about an amount of USD 550 available
in GofundMe but still not enough.
However, we are in touch day to day with the school management team in
order for them to remain patient for the general benefit of the
education of the 167 kids.
In conclusion this is the current situation which requires more
attention although your efforts already deployed remain incredible and
the community remains extremly grateful to all your continued support!
Best regards,
Jean Bosco
