Oder mit Emma on Tour
Vorwort:
> I am just trying to sort out the finer details of your safari.
> This has ended up rather long. Don't think brevity is my strong point!
> First, I need to say that unfortunately Patrick and I have parted company.
> It was a matter of how a company should be run, and he was brilliant on
> many things but others I couldn't handle. I say this because it does
> affect you a bit!
> The most significant thing is that the vehicles should have been on a PSV
> licence, but were on private insurance and I am trying to sort that out but
> I could end up with big problems..with questions being asked!! For you,
> it means that if we don't sort it out before you arrive, you will still be
> on private insurance. If asked it means you saying you have it from a
> private individual!! I hate doing this but in reality our vehicles have
> been on this system for 4 years, and I didn't know, but I don't think anyone
> has been asked.
> The other thing is that the vehicle that I was going to give you was not
> registered properly. Patrick assured me that it would be and all would be
> fine. In reality, it was not done and I have discovered that the way he
> was going to do it was not straight....the Kenyan way!
Just to apologies again for the shock I gave you and your wife.
A couple of things. The insurance which is called PSV(public service vehicle) insurance for a vehicle that is being hired by a client is displayed on the windscreen of your vehicle ; the KTB(Kenya Tourism Board) licence is also displayed on the windscreen: You will receive your Comesa card or Yellow card that covers you for Uganda when I come and hand over the vehicle to you. You will also have a copy of the log book of the vehicle.
