Überträgt man die unter "Identify" angezeigten Koordinaten, ergibt das folgende betroffene Gebiete im CKGR:

Über fb habe ich folgende Antwort vom Botswana Gov. zu meiner Anfrage erhalten:

Eine offizielle Warnung gibt es immer noch nicht....
Aber hier ein aktuelles Update aus dem 4x4-Forum von Henryv:

We have just returned from the CKGR after spending almost a week there. We entered last Saturday, and it seems the fire started on Sunday and then spread west and south. We we doing an anti clockwise route from Sunday pan to Passarge valley to Phokonje and were then booked at Piper pan, Lekubu and Lethiathu. The evening at Phokonje however, the fires were raging all around us to the east and north and some were moving towards us. At some stage we were worried we may get trapped at the campsite, but then the wind died down and we could relax. However the next morning when we tried to go to Piper pan there we just too many fires accross our way and we had to turn around. Eventually we backtracked and worked our way back to the Tau pan lodge, only to find it had been evacuated and only some fire fighting staff theee. The manager put us onto an uncharted road that took us to Lethiathu, which was abandoned and where we then spent the night. The next day we decided it was too dangerous in the area and were worried of getting trapped at Piper pan even if we could make it to there. We therefore abandoned the rest of the holiday and returned home - really a big pity. However the grass cover is very dense and extremely dry and any fire can turn very ugly in no time, depending on the wind. Due to the fact that theee aee very few roads to use for escape if needed, I think it is a very real danger that you can get trapped somewhere, so we decided to rather abandon the trip than risk being trapped between those huge fires.

Ckgr fire updates
It seems the fire has been raging for very long time, as almost 3/4 of the Northern part of the reserve is burnt down;
My observations from:

: The whole of Deception Valley is Charcoal black all the way to passage valley water hole, when driving along the cutline
: There was fire between Motopi waterhole, and fire department has extinguished it, but the area 25kms from Motopi waterhole all the way to CKPAS02 is burnt down, and its now safe to drive from Tsau gate to passarge Valley
:There was still active fire around the Leopard loop, opposite CKSUN01. The area from leopard pan to Deception all burnt down
: The area around Kori campsites is all burnt down but camping is fine. I was staying at CKKOR02
: There was still fire along the Matswere entrance to Deception valley. This was the most threatening of them all as it was just along the route, but you could pass if you patient.
: It seems many tourists have cancelled their trips as i was told CKKOR01 was booked but no one piched up.
: Game sighting is good with magic sunsets but the black cover spoils the scene
: There is fire department on the ground fighting the fire with satelight phone updating all reserve entrances. So enquire on arrival
