Keine Quarantänekontrolle bei Einreise heute

Kurzes Erfahrungsupdate zur Einreise heute:
10 Leute im Flugzeug aus Johannesburg. (Eine Nacht in Johannesburg war auch wie immer, lediglich PCR Test wird gecheckt)
Ankunft Vic Falls auch alles wie immer... nochmal PCR Test vorzeigen. Auf Fastjetticket steht, dass man in Quarantäne muss... interessiert und macht hier aber niemand(!). Wird auch nicht gefragt oder kontrolliert. Der Passbeamter hat selber kritisch gesagt, dass der Präsident ja mal langsam bekannt machen könnte, dass hier keiner in Quarantäne geht...

Meine Freunde hier vor Ort bestätigen, dass keiner ihrer (sehr wenigen) Gäste in Quarantäne musste oder kontrolliert wurde.

The government of Zimbabwe announced new regulations on the 1st of December 2021 in response to the Omicron variant. These regulations included having PCR tests on arrival, and also going into mandatory quarantine. However, none of these regulations have actually been instituted yet, although they could be at any point. We will update this page the moment that the regulations have been implemented. Players in the tourism industry are having meetings with government and health officials to get these regulations revoked.
