I would like to have some advise about fuel we will need for the trip in kaokeveld.
Just a bit worries about. 🙄
We fill up 150 liters in Palmwag ( read we can t count on fuel in Sesfontein.....?)
We drive from palmwag to sesfontein, and through the obias riverbed to Amspoort gorge.
Overnight there
Day 2 riverbeds hoarusib and khumib to Purros camp
Day 3.Purros to Marble camp. I think we will drive hoarusib and khumeb , but maybe the D 3707 ?( read about the terrible conditions of this road 😈
4. Marble camp to Opuwo, via D 3703 or D3707
This trip is about 615 km om T4A ,
I doubt if we can make this trip with the fuel in our car, or we have to take an extra jerrycan with us.Unfortunately our can doesn t have the opportunity to fasten it on the outside of the can, so we have to take the can inside in the bakkie.
We think to drive average 1:5 , so our range should be 750km with a 150 ltr.
Is it realistic? Or do we need extra cans??
