Three safari camps, Rooiputs, Polentswa and Union’s End, are set to open in Botswana’s Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park next year, by privately owned company Ta Shebube.
Construction started on September 10 with the first camp, Rooiputs, scheduled to open in early 2013. Rooiputs is located 25 kilometres north of Twee Rivieren Airstrip. It will comprise 11 luxury thatched chalets constructed out of mix of wood, canvas and glass with furnishings reflecting the rich ethnic textures of Africa and the desert.
Polentswa and Union’s End will be classic tented camps. Polentswa will host nine tents, and Union’s End six tents.
All camps can be accessed by road and there are daily flights from Cape Town and Johannesburg into Upington. The Twee Rivieren airstrip is a 50 minute charter from Upington.
Ta Shebube’s marketing will be handled by international travel marketing company, The Safari Agency.
Bin mal gespannt. Ich find es schade, da ich gerade die Ruhe und Exclusivität in Rootipus und Polentswa liebte.
