ALERT ON TAMBO AIRPORT

folgende Warnung hab ich grad ueber das Maun Bulletin Board gelesen .. (weiterleiten kann ja nicht schaden ) :


SECURITY ALERT O.R TAMBO AIRPORT>> We would like to warn all travellers that there are thugs in the OR Tambo Airport watching visitors as they change foreign currency or withdraw money and follow them to hotels and rob them. We have heard of incidences of official delegates who were robbed recently in such a manner. Should you need cash, please be advised to change your money in your own country before you leave or at the Forex counters located in the Baggage Collection area before you step through Arrivals doors. As far as possible we recommend travellers to use Credit and Debit Cards for transactions instead of carrying large amounts of cash. Please warn fellow travellers.

Danke fürs weiterleiten, ich ziehe mein Bargeld auch ungern gleich am Flughafen, für den ersten Kaffee hab ich immer einen Rest dabei und Geldautomaten gibts überall, das kann man auch in der Shopping Mall erledigen, ich bilde mir dann immer ein wenn ich wie die Südafrikaner barfuss in Flip-Flops unterwegs bin hält mich auch keiner mehr für einen Touri....;)

Ist leider nicht Neu. Wir adviseren unsere Gasten immer Nicht auf OR Tamvo geld ab zu heben!

Aber Miss Elie glucklich passiert dass niecht Oft, aber jeden mal is eine zu viel!
