I usually travel with my tablet with attached GPS-device. So I have online GPS tracking on a big screen. It works fine, is clearly represented. But a couple of times the program broke down and I had to un- and reinstall it, I do not know why, and a Touratech employer could not help me, maybe just because I did not understand his technical language and I am not so firm at computers, who knows.

I found out it had something to do with the online GPS-log . So I ended up to save the online-logs seperately in a extra file and delete them in the qu4-file and now it works fine.

To plan the routs I take Mapsource, it has the routingfeature. As I exerienced with Touratech the T4A and the Garmap Africa series are not routable. Only go straight lines, so one does not get the correct distance and approximate traveltime, offered by these maps.

I have the Touratech Q4, the new version Q5 does not yet offer online GPS, but they are working on it.
