The tracks were fine, I was in 2wd most of the time and only needed 4wd in some places of thick sand. It did however started to rain quite a bit when I was in the North Gate area which made the sand nice and compact but you will go through puddle after puddle
The 1st photo is a river crossing between Dead Tree Island and 3rd Bridge
Photo 2 is where I crossed the Khwai just before the community camp sites - It looks shallow and I didn't get out due to crocs and hippos. As I went in the water came right up to the windscreen but the footing underneath is solid.
Photo 3 is the roads during the rain
