UPDATE TALAMATI and BIYAMITI on 7 March 2023:
Talamati Bushveld Camp is open for guests. Access only on S140 from Orpen at this stage.
Biyamiti will be opened tomorrow 8 March 2023. Access only from Malelane Gate on S114 then on S139. From Skukuza, access on H2-2 just after Afsaal, then on S114 and S139.
Sable Dam Hide is still not accessible due to high water level.

Da muss man sich fast wundern, dass Touristen nicht mehr passiert. Dailymaverick ist ja auch eher seriös, kein "Revolverblatt". Man kann nur hoffen, dass es nicht noch schlechter wird.

Guests are being directed to a none SANParks website that requests guests to book for promotions at the lodge. This site also requests guests to pay via e-wallet or cash send. Please be advised that SANParks will never ask a guest to pay by e-wallet or cash send.
Guests are advised to go via the central reservations for assistance to avoid being scammed while trying to book for the lodge.

Aber im Moment kannst Du über die offizielle Website der aha-hotels (Camp gehört zu dieser Gruppe) zu einem Spezialpreis buchen, der gegen 50% unter dem Preis liegt welche die grossen Buchungsportale verlangen.

Please be aware that Shingwedzi Rest Camp will be hosting the Annual Baroque in the Bush event from the 11th of September 2023 for 10 days. This is during the same time as the annual SANParks week.
Shingwedzi will not be accessible to day visitors during the Baroque in the Bush period. This is a long standing arrangement we have with the MONDI Group as they have exclusivity to the camp for the duration of their stay.
As tourism we will prepare for additional seating and braai facilities at Punda Maria EE Centre, Babalala and Pafuri Day Visitor Site to cater for the influx of visitors. It will also be arranged with the shops to set-up temporary facilities at these sites to offer basic retail commodities for sale.

Yep, that’s right. The Letaba shop swung its doors open today 25 August 2023 for our long waiting guests. Thank you all so much for the patience while we got this convenient stop built from the ground up after the horrific fires tore down the old Letaba Park Shop. Here is to happy shopping Krugerholics!
