Hallo Werner,

“So, this is what the SWAPO Party Government of Namibia means by a "green scheme" and by a 'win-win' Chinese investment in a tobacco farm.
Hey Joseph Hailwa, so-called Director of Forestry: this is what you and your bosses are doing in the name of what, trade? development? progress?
It is exactly the opposite.
These trees represent thousands of years of growth, and you are selling them for N$200 a tree. You are truly the architects of poverty - and you are doing it out of sheer stupid greed, as always.
Please, people of the Caprivi / Zambezi region: go knock nails into every large tree in the forest. It does not damage the trees, but it is hell on a chainsaw.
And to think that the GRN is now also considering logging in the Tsumkwe area. Stuff like this is going to turn me into an eco-terrorist yet.
I am in the meanwhile looking to raise money for a lawyer to file an urgent application in the High Court to halt the logging on grounds that this is all illegal and in contradiction and violation of Article 95 (l) of the Namibian Constitution. We cannot let this continue.
You can help by sharing the hell out of this, please. Let's make this go viral.”
Best Regards
Adolf
