Auch hier ein Update:
Nachdem es am Ende QR und nicht ET wurde, stand ich vor einem neuen Problem:
9 Stunden Transit in Doha und ich will natürlich wieder mal ab in die absolut tolle Stadt.
Problem bei QR: Drohnen MÜSSEN im Handgepäck transportiert werden, dürfen aber nicht nach Qatar importiert werden. Ich müsste also am Airport verweilen. Es gibt zwar Ausnahmegenehmigungen, aber nicht für Ausländer. Dafür müsste ich Qatari sein (nicht mal ein Wohnsitz dort würde reichen).
Nach viel Chat mit der Airline (Ausnahmeregeln für die angebotenen Stadttouren von Ihnen - negativ), dem Transitdesk (gibt es Spinte, oder wäre ein Lagern in der Lounge möglich - negativ), gab mir die katarische Luftfahrtbehörde (ich fragte trotzdem freundlich nach eine Ausnahmegenehmigung) den richtigen Tipp: Mann könne die Drohne beim Zoll lagern.

As Drones are a banned item for import into Qatar you will not be able bring your Drone through security into Qatar.
However, you may be able to leave your Drone at the airport security, obtain a receipt and then collect it as you leave Qatar.
Please contact Hamad Airport Customs to confirm this service is available.
