Hat gerade ein Freund von mir in Facebook gepostet. Er arbeitet als Arzt in Kapstadt...Es regt sich immer mehr Widerstand gegen die Corona Meinungsdiktatur, jedenfalls in Südafrika... ist ein Corona Toter ein anderen Toter als einer der zum Beispiel an TB stirbt.... ?

Was there no lockdown because this is seen as a "poor people" illness? I don't get it...

People say that is like comparing apples with oranges, but they are still both fruit... Covid-19 and TB are both illnesses killing people.
In 2018, an estimated 10 million people fell ill with tuberculosis(TB) worldwide. A total of 1.5 million people died from TB in 2018 (including 251 000 people with HIV). That's 4109.6 people dying of TB per day.

There are 2 703 439 ACTIVE Covid-19 cases (worldwide) of which there have been 284 392 deaths (that's 2154,5 deaths per day (if only looking at Jan - 11 May).

South Africa has 194 deaths, lets say from 15 March. That's 3.4 deaths per day...

So, to conclude... we have a lockdown, with a curfew... for 3.4 deaths per day (vs the 213 TB deaths per day)...
Even if this number increases to match TB... how does it justify the lockdown, when other terrible illnesses hardly gets attention!
