Hallo zusammen,
ich habe heute folgende Nachricht von Godfrey vom Sinamatella Camp erhalten:
Shumba
The dam is 1/2 full and still pumped by solar during the day ,Rains are nowhere to be seen as it has rained heavily only twice in 2 weeks ,its mostly cloudy all the time and sometimes overcast all day with a few showers for a few minutes only.
Game activity is quite low ,Elephants are coming at night only and mostly its bulls . Lions are seen more often and they roar all night everyday.Cheetahs are also around and seen more often crossing the Tshompani dam road near the camp.Ostriches now have 11 chicks and come often near the waterhole .
Masuma
The dam is 1/4 full and still pumped by solar, game activity is good with lots of Impala,Kudu and Zebras around.Lions & wild dogs are still seen often .there a few Elephant bulls and mostly in the late afternoons.
Mandavu
The dam is 3/4 full and it has been raining a lot more around Mandavu area than anywhere else.
Game activity is good with lots lmpala, water buck, and Kudus.
Tourists are not coming and there has been no one camping for more than 2 weeks now .
Roads are still in better condition and still easily acessible except on the detour on the road to Masuma from Mandavu where it gets a bit slipery after heavy rains.
Best Regards,
Godfrey
