Hallo liebe Forumsmitglieder

Chengeta (Shona) means To look after, to take care for, to protect

The slaughter of elephants to fund terrorists attacks on innocents must be stopped now.
We can't wait for governments to create committees and subcommittees and argue amongst themselves about what course of action should be taken. Funding that is eventually granted trickles through too many hands before it reaches the people on the front lines of this war.

RANGERS, these brave men risk their lives to protect wildlife. They go to work knowing they may face heavily armed poachers, sometimes ex-guerrilla fighters hired by ivory smuggling syndicates. These rangers need to have the best training and tools possible and that is what we provide.

Young has formed an alliance with Jacob Alekseyev, an American living in Zambia. Alekseyev is a former Major and Federal Agent of the US Air Force, Office of Special Investigations.
Together they have worked out a plan of action to stop poaching in the Zambezi River Valley.
Rory Young is an expert professional tracker with knowledge and practical ability gained over many years in the bush. Since his childhood, he has developed an amazing database of knowledge and skills and a highly developed intuition to become one of the best in his field. By looking at human tracks or "spoor", he can form a general description of a person. Approximate height, weight, age, how fast they are traveling, if they are fit, when they were in the area and if they are carrying a load. At times he can tell if they are carrying weapons.

How their plan works - A poaching hot-spot is identified. Young is alerted, he and Alekseyev study the terrain. Together Young and Alekseyev form a plan specifically for that area. Young schedules two weeks of intensive training with the rangers that patrol the hot-spot. He spends eighteen hours a day training and patrolling with the rangers. The strategy to stop poachers in the area is laid out for the rangers in detail.

In the past Rory Young has donated one week per month to charities that requested his training. Because of the escalation of ivory poaching and the fact that poaching is funding terrorist activity, he would like to do this specialized training/strategizing full time.

Absolut lesenswert !
